I haven't listened to any doom for a long time now, not since Cathedral and My Dying Bride were at the peak of their powers. I'm sure the doom scene has been chugging away nicely in the interim, but I haven't been aware of it to be honest. That's why I was so glad to come across Doom:vs. This album is probably the most melodic doom I've heard and, for me personally, the most enjoyable also.
